One easy method is to use a ring sizer, which you can either order online or print out. Simply wrap it around your finger and check the size. If you have an existing ring that fits like a glove, compare it to a ring size chart to find your size. And, if you're feeling a little crafty, you can grab some string, wrap it around your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length against a ruler - easy peasy, and it genuinely doesn't take very long at all.

 

Converting measurements

Once you've measured your finger, you might need to convert those numbers to find your perfect ring size. For example, a finger circumference of 15.7 millimetres usually translates to a size 5. If you’re closer to 16.1 millimetres, bump up to a 5.5. A little nudge in size can make a big difference, especially if you're between sizes.
